What is Dry Hydrotherapy?

AquaMed dry hydrotherapy is a combination of the time-proven therapies of whirlpool treatment, heat and massage in a single system.  You are fully-clothed, comfortably supported and protected by a sturdy flexible barrier, while waves of heated water are directed to the treatment areas of your body.

Can Dry Hydrotherapy help me?

Excellent results have been reported by healthcare professionals in relieving pain associated with conditions such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, headaches, insomnia, stress/tension, chronic pain, muscle spasms, sports-related sprains and strains.  Dry Hydrotherapy is safe for anyone that can safely receive gentle hands-on massage treatment, including older patients, pregnant women, and those with serious neurologic and connective-tissue problems.  (It is not recommended for those with severe circulatory problems, diabetes or in cases involving recent significant trauma.)

How will I feel during treatment?

Most patients report feeling relaxed and a bit invigorated at the same time.  The sensation is similar to the powerful jets of water in a jacuzzi, but the massage moves along your body in waves.  After initial set-up, the treatment is controlled by the patient with a modern touch-screen control monitor.  You control the speed, wave strength and location of the massage, and you can even listen to music or watch videos on the monitor as you get your therapy.
